Technical canyoneering is inherently dangerous. Our products are for canyoneering only. Any person using our gear in any manner is personally responsible for learning the proper techniques and good judgment. We strongly recommend that every person seek instruction by a qualified professional. You are responsible for knowing and respecting product capabilities and limitations. Always know the maintenance and use history of your equipment and destroy retired gear to prevent future use. The use of secondhand equipment is strongly discouraged. You are responsible for your own actions and decisions. Failure to follow these warnings can result in severe injury or death.
Inspect your gear before each use. If you notice what might be a problem, seek a professional opinion before continuing use of the product. Check sewn goods for excessive abrasion, frayed or cut stitching and overall integrity. Check hardware for cracks, fissures, dents, loose parts and general smooth operation. Check carabiners for excessive wear and tear where the rope settles or is made to run. Check helmets for any depressions and check the integrity of the foam for any compression (compressed areas will no longer absorb the energy of an impact) or cracks.
